Né en 1990 à Budapest, Hongrie. Après avoir essayé plusieurs instruments musicaux, je suis tombé amoureux de la guitare à 14. Il est rapidement devenu apparent que je voulais étudier le monde du jazz, donc après deux ans dans le Conservatoire Pikéthy à Vác, Hongrie, j'ai donné mon application au Conservatoire d'Amsterdam. Comme ils m'ont accepté la première fois, j'ai déménagé aux Pays-Bas en 2011. J'ai eu la chance d'apprendre avec des joueurs de jazz incroyables comme Jesse van Ruller, Peter Bernstein et Martijn van Iterson, entre autres.
Vers la fin de mes études, j'ai découvert le monde du Django Reinhardt, (jazz européen des années 30 et 40, ou jazz manouche si tu veux, mais ce terme n'était pas utilisé jusqu'aux plusieurs décennies après qu'il est décédé en 1953). J'ai joué internationalement avec plusieurs projets dans ce style, ainsi qu'avoir travaillé dans le monde du théâtre, avec des storytellers professionnels, notamment.

Born in 1990 in Budapest, Hungary. After trying several musical instruments, I fell in love with the guitar at the age of 14. It quickly became apparent that I wanted to study the world of jazz, so after two years at the Pikéthy Conservatory in Vác, Hungary, I applied to the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Since they accepted me the first time, I moved to the Netherlands in 2011. I was fortunate to learn from amazing jazz players like Jesse van Ruller, Peter Bernstein, and Martijn van Iterson, among others.
Towards the end of my studies, I discovered the world of Django Reinhardt (European jazz from the 1930s and 1940s, or Gypsy jazz if you prefer, though this term wasn't used until several decades after his death in 1953). I played internationally with several projects in this style, as well as worked in the theater world, with professional storytellers, among others

Contrebassiste né à Paris, Antoine Brochot a étudié au conservatoire de Bourg-la-Reine, puis à la HEMU de Lausanne en Suisse. Durant son apprentissage, il eut la chance d'étudier avec des musiciens tels que Pierre Boussaguet, Laurent Coq ou Yann Dubost. Son intérêt pour la scène newyorkaise lui permet de se frotter aux jam sessions locales et d'étudier avec Joe Sanders, Russell Hall et David Binney. Sideman demandé sur la scène européenne, il est aussi compositeur et leader de son projet en quartet. Son premier album attire l'attention de TSF jazz, Jazz News Magazine, The Walkers (Japon) , FIP radio. Le groupe reçoit le premier prix de composition à l'édition 2023 des Trophées du Sunside à Paris, le nouvel album « Because It’s Only Right » sort en 2025 sous le label Jazz Family. Antoine a eu l'opportunité d'apparaitre au Montreux Jazz Festival, Festival Django Reinhardt, Jazz à Saint-Germain des Prés, Duc des Lombards, Oper Frankfurt…

Bass player born in Paris, Antoine Brochot studied at the conservatory of Bourg-la-Reine, then at the HEMU in Lausanne, Switzerland. During his training, he had the chance to study with musicians such as Pierre Boussaguet, Laurent Coq, and Yann Dubost. His interest in the New York scene led him to participate in local jam sessions and study with Joe Sanders, Russell Hall, and David Binney. A sought-after sideman on the European scene, he is also a composer and leader of his own quartet project. His first album caught the attention of TSF Jazz, Jazz News Magazine, The Walkers (Japan), and FIP Radio. The group won the first prize for composition at the 2023 edition of the Trophées du Sunside in Paris, and their new album, "Because It’s Only Right," will be released in 2025 under the Jazz Family label. Antoine had the opportunity to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Django Reinhardt Festival, Jazz à Saint-Germain des Prés, Duc des Lombards, Oper Frankfurt, and more.
